Lathasha Subban is qualified in the fields of Marketing and Communications Management, and Human Resource Management. After 5 solid years as the Head of Human Resource Management, she has specialised in Talent Management.
She manages key programmes that supports business by aligning the outputs to key competencies in HR. She has developed corporate programmes like Executive Business Coaching; Graduate Training; Mentoring and Coaching; and the Chartered Accountant Training Programme. She has recently moved to the SA Board for People Practices (SABPP) as the Head of Knowledge and Innovation. Here she advises, researches and engages the HR fraternity with trends, impact, business alignment and expertise within the HR value chain. She also publishes Fact Sheets on HR areas and co writes with celebrated authors and experts in the field. She further writes position and research papers, and comments of key legislation, and the socio-economic impact affecting HR practices in SA.
She is certified by GIBS with her Executive Business Coaching Programme, and practises as an Executive Business Coach. In May 2015 she was a speaker for the GIBS Career Event. She sits on the UNISA Department of HRM: Advisory Board, the HRM Programme University of Johannesburg Advisory Board, SABPP Committees: Ethics, Change, HR Citizen.
